Thanks to the creative spark of Northeast Elementary School kindergarten teacher Christine Bloom, the school celebrated its first-ever Thanksgiving Day Parade in Amityville on Nov. 27.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of Northeast Elementary School social worker Jessenia Bermúdez, Northeast received a generous donation of turkeys from Stew Leonard’s to support families in need.

Northeast Elementary School in Amityville turned learning into a family celebration on Nov. 7 as students welcomed their grandparents into the classroom.  

From October 27–31, pre-K and kindergarten students at Northeast Elementary School in Amityville proudly celebrated Red Ribbon Week, joining schools across the nation

Mrs. Maria Lievano’s bilingual pre-K class at Northeast Elementary School in Amityville recently had a special guest reader in recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month.
